Hena Khan is a children’s picture book and middle grade author. Her picture books are Golden Domes And Silver Lanterns: A Muslim Book Of Colors (Chronicle, 2012), an ALA Notable Book and Bank Street College of Education Best Children’s Book of the Year; Night Of The Moon: A Muslim Holiday Story (Chronicle, 2008), a Booklist Top 10 Religion Book for Youth; and a new release, It’s Ramadan, Curious George (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016). Hena has published two middle grade choose-your-own-adventure novels, Worst Case Scenario Ultimate Adventure: Mars (Chronicle, 2011) and Amazon (Chronicle, 2012). Mars won the Eleanor Cameron/Golden Duck Award for Middle Grade Fiction. She got her start writing children’s books for several Scholastic book club series, including the Spy University, Space University, Peanuts, and How to Survive Anything series.
